For dinner today, I'm cooking...

Roast chicken thigh/leg quarters, sprinkled with just a bit of Mrs. Dash (great stuff) and drizzled with garlic butter.

Side dishes: My own homemade version of Rice-A-Roni, along with some fresh mustard greens.

We generally eat light on Sunday. Plus, I don't think I've completely digested the dinner I had at Chili's last night.  :devilish:

Grilling Ribeyes here with a touch of Montreal, Potatoes and a salad.   Hambugers on the side because the kids don't like steak. :o

I ordered ribeye at Chili's last night.

I don't know if it was a bad night for our waitress or what - we had an appetizer brought to us but no silverware to eat anything with. When the main courses arrived, I didn't get my home fries and she didn't get her pico de gallo.

We asked for a take-home tray twice, waited 15 minutes, then gave up and left. Our waitress got a so-so tip and a note that she was too forgetful.  :devilish:

Did you really leave her a note?  Too funny.  Well we just finished the Ribeyes they were great!  My husband prefers Ribeyes to anything.  I believe he could eat them 7 days a week.  My kids perfer Hot dogs and occaisionally hamburgers.  Cheap pizzas, chicken and nachos. (they are so easy to please) ;D

When I was a kid I wasn't crazy about steak, either. Now I could eat it every night if I could afford it.

Yes, I left her a note.  :devilish:

My practice when service is bad is to leave a small enough tip where they'll get the idea I wasn't happy with how I was treated. If you don't leave one, they may chalk it up to forgetfulness or stupidity. Leave a tiny tip and they'll get the message.

I left one waitress a quarter one time.  :devilish:

Tattoo, next time try Rosemary on that roast chicken. Add it in with the Mrs. Dash if need be. More chefs should discover Rosemary.

I've used it before on Cornish hens. Haven't bought in any a while, though.

For dinner today, I'm cooking...  (well we call it supper down here & lunch is dinner)  ;)

Spaghetti...no special recipe, it is usually a little different each time. I start with some sauce, Ragu, Prego..whatever.. 2 jars,1 jar of my salsa,  Brown 1# ground chuck, 1 roll Jimmy Dean Hot Sausage, some finely chopped pepperoni...Throw in 1 chopped onion, 1 chopped green pepper, 1 chopped yellow pepper, mushrooms & odd & end spices from the spice rack. Dump everything in the Crock-Pot & simmer on low all day 8-10 hours. Yum!
