Personally, I'm not fond of it, despite having eaten it many times since childhood.

I'll eat a pancake, a waffle, or French toast before cornmeal mush.

Don't hate it, just not one of my favorites.

Actually, sometimes when I make cornbread, instead of baking it, I just spoon it into a frying pan, like a pancake, and have it that way instead of baked. Pretty good for a change.

I make the fried cornbread fritters to go with brown beans every now and then...but the word uh er mush...sounds...different *sadd*

Seems when they fried it, it had to sit in the 'frig overnite. Hmmmmm.....don't know, I may try it some weekend. That's when I'm let loose in the kitchen.  :sneeky: If I do, I'll post the results   :av3:
