Deep Freeze - Photos
« on: February 04, 2007, 02:51:49 PM »
After over a week of brutal cold, I knew the huge icicles would be forming at Brushy Creek so I went hiking this morning. I am now suffering from hypothermia but it was worth it. I never miss them. I make it somehow every year.

Hope everyone's on broadband. I'm not so I do try to size them so they download pretty quickly.

These are the giant icicles. The big ones are about 40 feet high.

Brushy Creek from the bridge.

Close up of the frozen creek.

My crazy hubby went fishing in this cold  weather today. Caught some very nice trout too.  His buddy was catching the "big one", and fell in.   :sign97:

A leaf. :)

Love that picture! reminds me of a scene from Shindlers list...where everything was black and white except for one red item...a coat maybe?
