"All Things at Once" by Mika Brzezinski - and so far it's not what I expected (she's a co-host on Morning Joe, a political early morning talk show on MSNBC). I've only read a few pages, but they were gripping -- she described the frantic state of mind she was in (panic) when one of her young daughters began "making strange noises" and was "not moving from the waist down."

Yes this is the second of the series, Lost Souls, you need to read the first one, then read the current.  The next is due out in Spring 2011.

Reminds me of the time I was at a biker party years ago and there were some guys there who belonged to a mc club called Lost Souls. One of my buddies turned to me and said..."Well I reckon they're at the right place."

I've read that, what did you think?

I'm finishing up my Oliver Wendell Holmes Sr/Jr kick and I'm moving on to Harriet Beecher Stowe.

It sounds odd, but I'm hitting "veins" in my reading that is sending me down other paths of interest.

Well it was OK.  The intrigue was pretty goo, but you really had three separate story lines, which were connected only  by their association with Stone.  It was my first Balducci book, I don't know that i would make a point of going out and buying another.  I like Grisham better.

Just finished The Man Who Moved A Mountain by Richard C. Davids. A biography of Rev. Bob Childress which tells of his life and ministry on Buffalo Mtn. on the Virginia Blue Ridge between Hillsville and Floyd Virginia. Very inspiring and hard to put down!
