Bluefield versus Princeton

Who's going to the game Friday night. It would be a good game if Princeton had a head coach to lead those young men.

I plan on being there. I know that anything can happen in this game. Princeton has some good talent. The Allen kid is an exceptional player, great speed and can change direction in a flash. The quarterback showed signs that he could develop into quite a player. The weakness is in the trenches, and it's a glaring one, but who knows, records and everything else are out the window in this rivalry.

What did you think about the game? Seemed to me neither team was jacked up for the game. Also, for the first time in years there was plenty of seats available at kickoff. Wonder why?

We noticed the same thing about the crowd. We arrived early expecting the parking lot would get crowded but it was pretty clear. The game was kind of dull. It seemed both teams were playing to cautious trying to avoid mistakes of which there were many. I pity the Bluefield players today. I would almost bet they are in pads as I type. It happened after the Gate City game last year, Saturday practice in pads that was rough, but they won the rest of the way out.
