http://wiki.answers.com/Q/Why_does_weed_make_you_lazy

Maybe it was because I smoked a better grade of weed.  :roflmao: In your case it could be because indica didn't become prevalent until the early 80's when hillbilly's discovered they could grow skunk, which was much more potent, in about a third shorter growing season. That pretty much done away with sativa in the Appalachians. Another side effect of indica in a lot of people was a bit of paranoia while high.

Hillbillys were growin' skunk in the 70's. They didn't wait for the 80's.

I think if you are a active person the ganja would not slow you down but if you have a lazy side or in a lazy mood then I am sure it would make you gravitate to the slow side. Ganja has different effects on different folks.

I knew that,  :39:, it just wasn't prevalent until a little later. A lot of folks had sticker shock at first and stuck with the columbian and jamaican strains for quite some time. Do you agree about the paranoia?

Yeah I agree it can make one paranoid in certain situations. There were and are a few other drugs that cause paranoia. Heck those dadburn downers  (pain pills, nerve pills etc) sure don't cause paranoia. Them dadburn drugs sure makes folks lazy. The ganja can't hold a light to 'em for slowin' a person down.

You know, when I smell one today it really doesn't bother me. I guess it triggers old affections.  :roflmao:
