tony you bring up an interesting point...why does the government need to get involved at all with how any person structures their family? Let marriage be something that the church does, and expunge any civil benefits that exist for it. What do you think?

Gryph, look at how the family structure has gone down hill ever since the government started meddling years ago. Look at what the government has done to the black family since they took them under their wings years ago and put them on the dole. Life used to be good until the democrats forced the "if it feels good do it" mantra on the public.

Can I jump in? I think if gays are allowed to marry, then they surely can't discriminate against the masochists who want multiple wives. Seriously, that practice has put a strain on the welfare system in Utah. The children of the women who aren't legal wives out there qualify for benefits, and it seems there are a lot of them.

What a racist statement, there are more white people on the welfare roles than blacks

Yeah I recall something last year during the "compound raid" that indicated those folks get millions a year in welfare benefits. In either case, let 'em marry, its better for our economy.

Well if they were allowed to marry (polygimist that is) then they would have to claim the husbands income.

Yep they would, but that doesn't mean they won't qualify for benefits. When you have twenty or more younguns it takes a lot of beans to keep em fed.

I don't understand why these women are willing to share a man, I don't share and I will
not share.
