Huh. The last vampire book I read was Bram Stoker's Dracula, and on TV, the old series Dark Shadows.

And speaking of Dark Shadows, the June 5th W.Post featured a blurb about Jonathan Frid, who played Barnabas Collins. Frid is now 84 and "will make a rare appearance at this summer's Dark Shadows festival and may also do a cameo in the planned big-screen remake starring Johnny Depp."
